Explanation of Work

I originally created the brand identity and assets for this sports podcast some years ago, but Jestun wanted to bring it back in a new way. So I updated the logo and created assets to get them up and going on all of their platforms.

Logo

The original logo (left) had a lot of contrast between the copy and background, and the copy wasn’t all of similar visual weights. The background also was very small and didn’t command enough space, so the updated logo fixed these issues for legibility and visibility.

Cover Art

As the main topics were planned to be football and the occasional mention of soccer, I chose to include both within the cover art so potential viewers wouldn’t be confused hearing either topic. I also played with the ideas of having a old-school scorecard as the title marker as well as play lines on the background.
