Nativo Canvas Cheat Sheet

Work For: Nativo

Client: Internal

Explanation of Work

Nativo debuted a new product in market named Canvas, which allows Native Articles to render at full width — removing the side rails that usually house ads, other articles and other distractions. This guide was created to explain all of the capabilities available in Canvas executions using the same platform we leverage to build them, Ceros.

The idea for this resource was to build something that’s information built upon itself to help assist salespeople and account managers understand how creative can be built as well as the terminology. Initially are the smaller types of interactions (states, anchors, buttons).

Popups are a very versatile interaction within Canvas executions, which we use to tease content, as a form of lightbox for content, and mainly to qualify the reader before they click to an external site.

Carousels are a great interaction to help show off multiple products, and can be leveraged with buttons to help drive traffic to specific landing pages.

Galleries can have a multitude of animations depending on the brand they are being used for but are great at breaking up a page of longer copy to show relevant imagery.

Image hotspots can point out relevant information on a product, or can give the audience points of interest to check out when used on a map.
